Afternoon With Authors

The Naples Woman’s Club, 570 Park Street, Naples FL
Come join members of the Naples Woman’s Club and three New York Times bestselling authors: Kristin Harmel, Meg Waite Clayton, and Kristy Woodson Harvey on March 9, 2023 to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. In addition to our author panel and discussion, with questions from the audience, we’ve prepared a special Silent Auction. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine and nibbles will complete this charity called An Afternoon with Authors. Macintosh Books & Paper of Sanibel Island will be selling books written by our authors.
Tickets are $150 + processing fee
About the authors:
Kristin Harmel is the New York Times bestselling, USA Today bestselling, and #1 international bestselling author of The Forest of Vanishing Stars, The Book of Lost Names, and more than a dozen other novels that have been translated into more than 30 languages and are sold all over the world. Culinary Adventure That Gives Back
Our Third Year for this Signature Event!
January 25, February 23 and March 22, 2023
Join us for one or all three exciting chef table luncheons presented by 10 of Naples best restaurants and chefs. Each luncheon, with 25-40 guests, will feature a three-course meal, wine and special interaction and presentations by the chef, creating a memorable experience for guests. Part of the adventure is finding out where you will be dining when you get an invitation from the chef a week before the event. Tickets are $165 plus processing fee for general admission or $265 for Patron tickets.
This program was developed to support the many restaurants who make Naples very special and to provide grants to the community agencies that are addressing food insecurity and hunger in Collier County.

A special DFP event will be held at Naples Art, with cocktails, plentiful appetizers, and an opportunity to see the amazing exhibit Miradas de Mujeres by Isabelle de Borchgrave. Members, their guests, and the public are invited to this unique event. Funds from this evening will be used to support grants to critical social service agencies

For years, the Naples Woman’s Club has held a Flea Market at the Clubhouse. NWC members and community members have donated countless objects of clothing, housewares, electronics, toys and much more. All items are sold to support the charitable activities of the Club or donated to various charitable organizations. Attendance is free.
The Naples Woman’s Club awards numerous scholarships each year for college and technical education. In addition, we offer scholarships for community service, leadership, and the arts with varying qualification criteria. We have scholarships for graduating high school students. college students, mature women, and educators who are furthering their education. We gave 42 scholarship awards in May, 2021 for a total of $174,500.
For information on the scholarships that we award and the criteria, students should access the Collier County Community Foundation’s Scholarship Connector at www.swflscholarships.org. Applications will be submitted online through the Community Foundation, and candidates will be reviewed, interviewed, and selected by members of the Naples Woman’s Club.

Once again, the Lilly Pulitzer store in the Waterside Shops will support the NWC with a one-day event in February 2023. The store will generously donate 10% of sales from the day to the NWC. There will also be a store social event one evening, date to be announced.
