Empowering Women’s Scholarship Luncheon

Please join us for the annual Empowering Women’s Scholarship Luncheon. This luncheon helps raise funds for college and vocational opportunities for mature women seeking to improve their lives through education and honors the 2022 recipients of the scholarships.

Linda Oberhaus, CEO of the Shelter for Abused Women and Children and President of Florida Partnership to end Domestic Violence (FPEDV) will be the featured speaker.   She will be speaking on the empowerment of women who have succeeded in the Shelter.

In addition, a number from “Waitress”, a musical featuring an abused spouse, will be performed by ballroom dancer Thelma Negley. A variety of “chance” baskets will be available for purchase along with a social time to meet new friends.

Artisan Cocktail Party, December 16, 5:30-7:30 PM

The Naples Woman’s Club will present the sixth annual Artisan Marketplace featuring 20+ talented artisans offering their creations for sale. Included will be pottery, paintings, textiles, jewelry, clothing, and accessories, plus more!  The event is held at the Naples Art, 585 Park Street, right across from the Naples Woman’s Club.   Admission to the Marketplace is free.

The Artisan Party, a ticketed event, will feature wine and appetizers catered by Chef Vincenzo Betulia plus a chance to shop all the Marketplace vendors. Proceeds from both events will benefit the Naples Woman’s Club Arts Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $65 plus a processing fee.  At this time, this event is full, so no tickets are available!

For years, the Naples Woman’s Club has held a Flea Market at the Clubhouse.  NWC members and community members have donated countless objects of clothing, housewares, electronics, toys and much more.  All items are sold to support the charitable activities of the Club or donated to various charitable organizations.  Attendance is free.

Once again, the Lilly Pulitzer store in the Waterside Shops will support the NWC with a one-day event in February 2023.  The store will generously donate 10% of sales from the day to the NWC.  There will also be a store social event one evening, date to be announced.  Shop for those beautiful Lilly dresses, tops, and pants you have been thinking about and share a glass of Prosecco and nibbles with friends

Join the members and guests for a special DFP evening The London Club located at the Bellasera Resort.  The evening will include a three course dinner and a entertainment featuring Danny Sineoff, singer and pianist. Afternoon With Authors

The Naples Woman’s Club, 570 Park Street, Naples FL

Come join members of the Naples Woman’s Club and three New York Times bestselling authors:  Karen White, Meg Waite Clayton, and Kristy Woodson Harvey on March 9, 2023 to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.  In addition to our author panel and discussion, with questions from the audience, we’ve prepared a special Silent Auction.  Tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine and nibbles will complete this charity called An Afternoon with Authors.  Macintosh Books & Paper of Sanibel Island will be selling books written by our authors.

Tickets are $150. Become a Patron for an additional $100 donation. (processing fees apply)

A New Twist on the Culinary Adventure Experience!

As a result of both economic and hurricane impacts to our area, we were challenged to pivot and reinvent ourselves and we have! 

 We invite you to experience  “A NEW CULINARY ADVENTURE, EXPLORING THE FLAVORS OF NAPLES”.  Please mark your calendar for WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22, 2023, 11:00 AM – 2:00 pm.  Our areas finest chefs will delight you with delicious fare and entertain you with a series of gastronomic demonstrations, all under one roof. The ballroom adjacent to  SAINT JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH will be the site of this one-day food and wine event.  Enjoy a new twist on our previous luncheon series.

Scholarship Reception
The Naples Woman’s Club awards numerous scholarships each year for college and technical education. In addition, we offer scholarships for community service, leadership, and the arts with varying qualification criteria. We have scholarships for graduating high school students. college students, mature women, and educators who are furthering their education. We gave 42 scholarship awards in May, 2021 for a total of $174,500.

For information on the scholarships that we award and the criteria, students should access the Collier County Community Foundation’s Scholarship Connector at www.swflscholarships.org. Applications will be submitted online through the Community Foundation, and candidates will be reviewed, interviewed, and selected by members of the Naples Woman’s Club.
