The Naples Woman’s Club is a membership-based non-profit organization open to any adult woman who shares the vision of enhancing the lives of others through philanthropic activities and volunteer service. We are aligned with a sister organization, the Naples Junior Woman’s Club, and sponsor the Juniorettes, a group of teen volunteers. We have members from a wide range of states, countries, professions, backgrounds and age groups.
We have a membership capacity of 300 members, and we are close to capacity. The Club has a wait list and each year we can welcome some new members as the existing members’ plans change.
Most members are sponsored by someone they know in the Club. For those interested in membership, please contact our Membership Chair to indicate your interest. Prospective members will be asked to attend a Membership Tea, held twice a year, and to identify the member sponsor, if you have one. During the Tea, attendees will learn about the Club and its activities and service committees in which they will commit to serve. Prospective members will fill out an application during or after attending a Tea and the candidates will be put before the Board for a vote as part of the membership process.
Membership in the Naples Woman’s Club also includes membership in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) and GFWC Florida. Members are required to be active on at least one committee or project, serving on a planning committee or as a volunteer for events sponsored by the Club.
If you are not a member, nor the guest of a member, but wish to attend a General Meeting, please contact our Membership Chair. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month. During January and February, we cannot accommodate guests and do not meet May through September.
Please note: The Bylaws of the NWC prohibit members from using their Club Membership to promote their business or services, and members may not be hired by the Club for services. The membership directory is available for members only and is considered confidential.
